Solar Lamp Project
We introduce solar-based solutions and knowledge to rural Kenya allowing low income families to harness the sun’s energy, reduce the dependence on fossil fuel and learn and adapt sustainable lighting alternatives.
Light a child’s night!
A single power lamp cost approximately $10 and each night the light generates 3-4 hours of healthy reading light. For a child in a disadvantaged home, these hours of study translate into improved performance through school and better final results, which translate into favourable placement in secondary education.
