In January 2014, the foundation attained the ANBI status (Dutch: Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling) from the Dutch tax authorities. This status is awarded when at least 90% of the efforts of an organization are applied to the common good, and it makes all gifts and donations to the foundation tax deductible.
